Have some spare time and want to do something to raise much needed funds?
Here are a few ideas that may inspire you!


Challenge yourself and take place in a sponsored Sky Dive, Abseil, Bungee Jump


We love how people come up with their own genius ideas – these can always be passed on to help others with their fundraising ideas!


Run or cycle to work for a month, take part in a Charity Trek, 10k run or Marathon, Triathlon, Tough Mudder


Let your children, friends, other half decide what you wear for a month, Host a Fashion Show, Fancy dress competition, dress down day


Hold a raffle, auction of promises, place silent envelope donations on the tables at your work Christmas party


Donate a day’s wages / days takings


Shave your hair, full body wax, dye your hair an outlandish colour, grow bizarre facial hair


Man v Food Competition, who can eat the most donuts, I’m a Celebrity get me out of here trial


Hold lotteries, sweepstakes (Grand National, Great British Bake Off, X-Factor, sporting events), Casino Night (Caution: please ensure your “gambling” event is legal and falls within the rules of the Lotteries / Gambling Act)


Hold an Easter egg hunt BBQ, Garden Party, Halloween party, Christmas do! Raffles at these events are always great ways of raising money!


Fundraise during National Smile Month (usually held May/June each year)


Clothes swap (Swishing), Quiz night, Karaoke evening


Organise a golf day, football tournament, darts match, sporting event, Zumbathon


Raise sponsorship to support you to give up your bad habits – smoking, drinking, over eating


Organise a ‘bring your own cup’ coffee morning, cake sale

Use your social media accounts to ask your friends for support towards one of our projects.

Cheques should be made payable to the particular project you wish to support e.g. Dental Playbox® / Magical Power of Play Appeal or to support general funds please make cheque payable to Action for Sick Children.
